6-4 is the absolute mimimum that Lebanon will do. Mount Juliet will have their hands full Friday night.

I see at least 4 games that they could lose. MJ, Hendersonville, Beech and Stewart's Creek. If they split those 4, then they're looking pretty good for the playoffs and probably/maybe at home in the 1st round

As long as they beat either MJ or Hendersonville they most likely will finish 1 or 2 in the region. We will see what WC does when they play somebody. Rossview hasn't looked good at all the first two weeks. Station Camp might not win a game.

Eers, i'd pretty much guarantee Lebanon isn't a 5-5 team. Paypal ready.

Could easily lose to MJ, HHS, Beech and Stewart’s Creek, which would take them to 5-5. I see them losing at least 3 of those, meaning 6-4.

I definitely think they could be as good as 7-3, but depending on WC they could also be 4-6 (neither of which I think is the case).  Time will tell...

I totally agree. I'm talking about being competitive. Too many people get caught up in "they lost so they suck" no matter the competition.

Same way with Henry Co.  They are a solid team but may end up with 4 losses.  Could be the same with Gallatin, Mt Juliet, Hendersonville or several other teams.

Gallatin not as good as touted to be. Offensive Line and Defensive Line play can be lacking. I’m not completely convinced yet that this years gallatin is anything different than last years. Talent and coaching are obviously in gallatins favor but it was last year as well. This game normally boils down to who wants it more and sheer luck. Station is not as bad as it may seem - they dropped a wide open touchdown, missed a field goal and had a unfortunate call on the goal line before half. Station players will try to mimic the underdog role of last years team and make this a closer game than most expect.

Gallatin - 26 Station Camp 20

I think you were wrong

This year is the best offense they have had in a while. Apparently they had a retired coach from California help put in some plays this year. It’s more of a spread look this year which is a huge step up from the triple option from last year. Last years team was set to fail running that offense.

Well I don’t think that offense works either

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
