91 i have had my say a few times at WBs expense but after reading the paper this morning i feel sorry for the kids and fans.I go to bed early so i cant see the games BUT i 100% figured to see a win last night. You all need a change and its more than evident now.Good luck to you and your boys.More than enough time to at least show progress!

Our rbs average 5 yards a carry and we needed one yard. Still not sure why we punt the ball away when one first down probably wins the game. At that point, we were on the edge of field goal range. Worst case scenario we get a few more plays and burn more time off the clock.

The saddest part is the team really played hard and deserved to win. Our qb played a heck of a game. This loss sucks so much.

He said in the paper he still likes the call!!???

They had a couple kicks blocked. Had 1 blocked bad in the 4th Qtr. No idea how they can’t get off an XP but can get off a 51 yard FG. It was a very impressive kick. I was somewhat surprised to see the fake, but not completely caught off guard. What was terrible about the fake was all they had was the kicker running the ball. There has to be an “out” in case the D blows the kicker up (like last night). You’ve got to release / sneak a receiver out in the corner of the end zone. If there’s a receiver there last night, it’s an easy 2 pts. Poorly designed fake, in my opinion.

That just makes it worse!

And the game wouldn't have gone to overtime if you picked up a yard on 4th down with a 9-point lead. There were quite a few questionable decisions, but that is the one that sticks out to me as the one that lost the game.

When we punted, I had a feeling we were going to lose. When you coach not to lose you end up losing. Why is that so hard to figure out? Was Butch Jones' time at UT not enough to drive that point home?

As poorly as both defenses played, maybe he was worried SC would win it with a two point conversion as soon as they scored. It looked like pretty much any play would have gained 3 yards.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
