Anyone remember the kid im thinking #8 or #9 back in 09 that played for Trousdale? He was a really good ball player. Curious if he played at the next level. By far the coldest game I have ever ever been too.

#9 Brent Ford, went and played at a community college in Kansas but didn’t get playing time and came home, and Chad Evitts was 2-time all American at Tenn Tech and made it to final cut with the Steelers in 2000-01, Reggie Harper went to UT and played a little bit for the Dallas Cowboys

Several have gone on to play. Donnie Oldham also played for UT back in the 70s i believe, @SEVEN correct me if im wrong there. Evitts has already been named, he was interviewed by Burma Road back before the season and its a great listen if you haven't heard it. Eli Sanders played for Navy from 2000 to 2003 i believe and started at SS for them. Wesley Satterfield was a standout at Sewanee at QB/P. Dustin Dillehay laid the wood from the SS position at Tn Tech. Blake Satterfield followed his brother to Sewanee and was a great DB for them. Several others have played at Cumberland and various other small colleges.

Correct me if Im wrong but theres only been 1 man go to the Pros from TC maybe 2? There was an Evitts feller over there back in the 90s that went and played for TN tech and then the Steelers and there was Reggie Harper that went and played for the UT Vols back in the 70s. Dont know if he played any pro but that Evitts feller was pretty decent even though his team never could beat Westmoreland back in the day. Yall correct me if there are other TC players that played bigtime ball after highschool.

Dwayne Harper I think went to NFL training camp with Giants but was cut early.

it appears that weather could be a factor in this game. 60% chance of rain at kickoff and increasing throughout the course of the game. It's already been stated but a sloppy field will neutralized any speed advantage the Jackets have but that's not their only strength. If I'm Coach Cavanah, I'm going to be expecting to see alot of #5 tonight. Rankins running style wont be hindered.

Getting home late from work will eliminate my ability to make the trek on the Tractor so I'll be catching the game from the confines of my barn with mother hen and the chicks tonight on the old AM1090. @TCRadio  i'll be listening to you and Cheese so paint me a clear picture!

Oh please.

The test is the weather not the panthers 10 total fumbles by both teams tonight, jackets lead 14-7, jackets faked a punt at own 27 up 14-0 and didn’t get it and Portland capitalized which puts us at 14-7, will be a grind it out 2nd half, the one with the least mistakes will win
