sportman
His Mama called him Clay, His Daddy called him Clay, and I say SP mercy rules Clay. Just not on the same level right now as SP is. Maybe couple years when Clay grow's up they will be alot better.

Dale Hollow is like a piece of Heaven to me. What a gorgeous and peaceful place. I'd love to live up there.

Never forgot hugging my dad on the field after the game knowing we were heading to the Championship Game. Tell me if I’m right or if I’m wrong. But I have a memory that I think was that game that I went to. Seems like their field sat down in a hole sort of. Only flash memory I have of it seems like driving down the parking lot seeing the field at the bottom of the it. Maybe I’m wrong. It did seem like it took forever to get there. Sidelinehustler
Sounds about right. The football field doubled as the baseball field with a drainage ditch running through second base into left field.

It wasn't down in a hole, but there home side bleachers were smaller than the little league park in SP. I was on there side when Johnny Sisco took those two TD's all the way to start the game and then we abused the Hulk the rest of the night and Carl Lehr got a TD at the end of the game also. It was a total mud pit we played in.

Sounds like Basin when we played there in the 80s.
