My point was in bringing up the 2013 year was it doesn't matter if you have close games. Close games are going to happen. It's not always going to be a blowout. I said that because you said we was on our heels against Ridgeway at home. The point is good teams don't crumble under pressure. No we are not the greatest team in the state but we may very well have the most passionate fan base in the state and can't nobody take that away from us! We love where we are from and proud of what our football team does year in and year out!

If those things happen, anyone could beat anyone, on any given night. We’re something like +12 in the turnover department this season, hopefully that holds true Friday night. I still say bad weather effects them more than us. This is a power versus finesse matchup, with us being the power.

PN and Omaha Patriot was just stating the facts. Some folks just can't stand the fact we have won 2 championships and they haven't. You could tell he couldn't stand the fact that PN said something about the 2013 season which is factual. All of a sudden we are such a bad team because we had a close game with Ridgeway. Lol. SMH. Little brother acting up again....

It's hard not to bring up a game that was played by the same two teams, in the same year. And, it was a blowout. I hardly see Dyer making up a 41 point difference unless they have recruited a whole new team since then. It's a mental thing at this point, throw the Choctaws in the Clarksville category. Deep down, they don't truly believe they can beat Henry Co. However, I do enjoy the enthusiasm and optimism of this program. And by the way PN, do not keep quite (quiet) about your team and your community, we have valid reason to proudly defend them.

if we are bringing up past games in programs...

The Tennessee Titans smoked the Patriots in the 34-10 in the 2018 regular season, and then were manhandled in the playoffs by them. Teams can be super good in the regular season then fall apart in the playoffs. The Clarksville win isn't the deciding factor in this equation. We both beat them in the regular season. You guys had a very close game against the 4th seeded Memphis team while DC beat down two opponents we were supposed to lose to. I honestly think HC fans are a little nervous. Yep I said it. Y'all have been in this forum since Friday at 10 PM justifying why you guys win will win and all you guys can say is stuff from the past. We are the underdogs and that is just how we want it. Our team feeds off that. See you all on Friday.

Well we all know how the Titans are :roflol:but we aren't at all nervous. We are more confident than ever. Everyone around me Friday night was cheering when we heard on the speaker that Dyer County was winning against Southwind. We WANT y'all!!

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
