I hoped it would turn out this way in wish i could see video on you all, but didnt get a chance to see you in the season. I look for this to be a brutal game from both parties. Hard hits and hard earned yards. One thing I hope we DONT do like last year is let you all up 2 scores before we get it together. I highly doubt we will, but just wanted it stated. Our defense is better than last year easily, and our offense is just as good, just different. This will be a fantastic game I'm sure of it. Look forward to having you all in Decatur.

Seeing a video won't tell you much. The offense changes in playoff base on who we play. But I could say the exact same as you the offense is different and our defense is better. TC has a different head coach than what they had last year.

Video shows me athletes, thats what I normally base my assumptions on. Good placement on your kids will win you most games with sub par coaching alot of times.

Good point but it's hard to tell how athletic. The player is when they are playing against none athletic teams. Put me against any high school 3rd string player and I will make the the kid looks like to play in Tennessee and a Mr football candidate. Lol, I'm just saying you have to take the competition into account as well.

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
