That is a big no..... Meigs is a really good program right now but their facilities are quite lacking. Not a lot of seats and visiting team dresses in a barn.

The barn is an indoor facility w heat and turf. Stadium may not be huge but it’s Home. It would be nice to have big stadium like some in Chatt where just like there we could never fill it. Ask Vandy If they had our capacity they might fill it

He was doing live scouting and may be trying to learn signals.

Although I have no knowledge or care honestly about someone going to a game of yours from Meigs. ( I did it last year and didnt get moaning on the boards here about it ) We would have welcomed y'all to our field to watch a good football game and not moaned about it here.

Ive seen zebras in the playoffs at Meigs really effect the game. Hopefully it wont happen. This should be a classic.

Zebras lately here are calling anything and everything. I just hope for this game they understand it's a contact sport and hits are part of the game.

Im Meigs all the way but love this type of quote!  Everyone should read this.. it should be posted in every school, principals office and board of education. It should be posted in every court house/ mayors office. These kids and coaches give up family time to play the game they love and for you. Don’t they deserve a full house and cheering fans?  Don’t they deserve you to be there when they play EVERY game. Because they play for the name of their school/ community or hometown and NOT for the name on the back of their jersey.

Well said no matter who you're pulling for.

Crazy that it took 13 pages worth of comments for someone to make the statement “the best way to slow down a potent offense is to keep them on the sideline”

I look for Coach Satt and the Jackets to 3 and 4 yard the Meigs D down they field and limit the time that “high speed chicken feed” Meigs offense gets the ball.

H2O did a good job of stopping the TC run up the middle but the big plays on the edge by #2 and #11 were the difference. In the many years that TC has been played host and travelled to the teams from the East, speed has been a major factor in the game. TC can punish you with power and speed.

#2 and #11 would have to beat me if I were Meigs before I would let #5 demoralize my teams confidence by 3 to 4 yarding me to death.

If Meigs has the athletes I believe they have, i again like H2O’s game plan would load the box and shoot the gaps with my ILB’s. I would then trust my OLB’s / DB’s to do their jobs and maintain the edges.

If they beat me for a few big plays... so be it. I bring my high potent offense back on the field and trust my team will score enough and stop enough big plays to win the game.

* There is nothing more back breaking to a team IMO than not being able to stop the dive or trap and if I were Meigs I would like my chances in a high scoring game with TC*

You and your boys said we wouldn’t score 35 on Oneida. Not saying we will score that many against TC, but the Hamptonites’ opinion has been irrelevant when it comes to Meigs.

I for sure thought you would score quite a bit, said you would need to be 3 or 4 TDs better to be a legit contender. You passed the test. Don't confuse me with other posters.
