I think Georgia will have some "unofficial" say in the matter, depending on how cooperative/supportive they are of Mayes and his right to transfer. They have hired the most prominent attorney in these matters against the NCAA and he will be eligible. It is the same attorney that got Justin Fields eligible at Ohio State this season.
