Congratulations Chloe! You are an awesome player and an even better person. It’s been fun watching you since the 2 grade dribbling basketballs at half time. I’m going to miss your great attitude and unselfish play.
I was hoping our Lady Vols would offer you because you could have started immediately for them, they made a mistake.  Make us proud at Indiana, go Hoosiers.
It’s been a pleasure watching you, thank you for all the memories.

Once again, the Lady Vols let ANOTHER in state phenom out. Let all the All Americans out of Chattanooga get out of state, Notre Dame pluck away out of Murfreesboro and they get the 2nd best player on Greenfields team. Chloe would have been an immediate impact player at UT, especially with the current transfers. I said on this site when Harper was hired I was worried about her ability to recruit, seems I may have been right. But, congrats to Chloe and the best of luck to her at Indiana!!!

If Kelly had seen her play as much as we have, it would be a no brainer. Kid is a beast and does not turn the ball over and has the complete game. Will be interesting how TN will end up, but this is not a good look at all letting a player of her caliber get out of here.

Congratulations to Chloe, very deserving to head to Indiana and play basketball. Despite not being "known" for women's basketball, Indiana is actually a surging program. Would've been a projected 5 seed in the women's tournament, and Chloe is only going to make them better. Very deserving, I wish her the best playing inside Assembly Hall for hopefully the next four years! Such deserving, everyone in West Tennessee will be rooting for her.

It's that Tennessee lost their "eliteness." The SEC runs through Columbia, South Carolina, and Mississippi State is not that far behind.

It's going to be hard to judge Kelly Harper after year one, but they would've been the 6th in the SEC tournament. They didn't win a single game against teams that would've been seeds 1-5. According to ESPN women's recruiting (I don't how credible that really is), they only signed 1 player that's in the top 100.

I don't think these athletes care about the history of certain programs as much as the general public would think, which I really don't blame them.

What is a head scratcher is her recruiting is not great at all and she is not interested in Chloe. I wish Tess the best but Kelly is going to have to get with the program in recruiting.

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
