We are playing at 4:00 Sat. too. Snow has everyone playing same night. Semis Monday for both I bet. 13 AA will have four games from Sat. to substate Saturday. South Side’s depth will help.

Yes sir that snow left no room for error. We will/can wear down with all the fresh bodies that we have. Sat, Mon, Wed & Saturday is the goal!

I'd pick McMinn Central over many of those you have listed in "Other teams to watch".  Their only problem this year - like Meigs County - will be one of them having to face the best team in the state (from Region 4AA) in substate..... most likely Upperman.
Beating the runnerup from Region 4AA will be a tremendous challenge too.

I did see something that I find interesting when comparing the top 4 teams from district 8AA to Meigs and Central. That’s a big points difference.

Farragut 69 Livingston Academy 32

Farragut 68 McMinn Central 61

Every game is different. Livingston is an up and down team. They are either really hot or really cold. Could’ve had a bad night and Livingston didn’t pick it up until mid-way through the season. More than likely Meigs and Central is going to see Macon and Upperman unless something drastically happens.

I think Upperman or Macon to. I think the loser of region 3 can compete but a win is unlikely. The winner will have a tough game but a 50/50 chance.

Beside Meigs, who has the better chance of making it to next Saturday in region 3?

I agree. Almost a sweep by district 5AA. If Brainerd struggled that much with Sequoyah, with the way Central has played lately, then the Chargerettes should easily beat them though the game is at Brainerd.

If Brainerd only beat Sequoyah by 5 at home, I’ll take Central by 25.

That's a lot of points, but if Central is hitting pretty good from the outside you may be right.
When's the last time a district 6AA team made it to the region championship game?

Last year Meigs vs Red Bank. But Red Banks best players transferred to Brainerd

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
