It's part of our history and nothing will change that.  "But" what we're seeing is an attempt to change history as well as our future.  If you haven't already read Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky. It's the Liberal Bible and the Socialist that are at work today are following it to a tee. Everything that's happening is straight from that book.

Waco not everyone that supports 45 is racist, just some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth makes you kind of wonder. You're correct some of it is media driven. Even though I cringe seeing the Confederate flag not everyone that fly it is racist.

When we talk about racism we have to be careful who we label as racist. My wife is white, I am not but I would be lying to you and everyone on coacht that sometime in my lifetime while I was out driving an a white guy cut me off, that i didn't think hey this white dude is crazy, or i was at a grocery store in a rush an somebody white cut in front of me that I have thought in my head or said out loud who does this white person think he/she is.

So I'm not going to be a hypocrite an read some of things you guys post an deem it as racist, all races have to have some type of lead way.

The BLM protestors yes some of them were in it for free stuff an the ability to destroy property, some hearts was really into the movement. It never made sense to me that if a cop killed an unarmed person that you should destroy someone else property that had nothing to do with it, while the cop house and car is unscathed. I do agree with peaceful protest just not the looting.

Good post. I think the fact that Trump is not a polished politician is just something people are not used to. Todays "slick politician" has a staff that vets pretty much everything they say in public to make sure their not going to offend any certain group.  Trump has the press dissect every word that comes out of his mouth just to see if they can use something against him. Many times there's nothing there but they create something anyway. It's happening daily now. It's like at the end of a fireworks display when they shoot off a barrage. The election is coming up and their throwing everything they got at him. To call someone a racist not knowing what is in their heart is a bad way to go. I don't think Trump is a racist at all.

It won't be long until Oak Ridge has to take the atom off the school building. Our history will be attacked by those who think our Cold War heros hated the Japanese and the entire asian race. Any angle that can be attacked will.

What has our world come to?.

I agree. Terrell Owens, Dennis Rodman, Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson just to name a few minority have spoken highly of Trump. They all have known him personally pre-election shook hands with him, shared business interests and so on. Like you said anything that comes out his mouth that's in the verge of being racist then the media is going to try to capitalize on it. No matter the race we all have said something that could be deemed racist, it's just not all of us are in the position of power, famous or have been recorded so nobody cares.

Joe Biden said if your black an still haven't decided on which way to vote then you're not truly black. I didn't have a problem with him saying that, though I wish he didn't I'm not going to be a hypocrite an think every thing that comes out of Trump to be racist. And the people that do think what Trump says is racist then they have to find what joe Biden said was or their not be true to themselves.

This is TOTALLY getting out of hand. I'm a loyal Dobyns-Bennett Fan and I'll be darned if they will change our name without a fight. 

Couple of things...We went to the Maryville/DB game last year and while we got a well deserved #### kickin, we certainly was treated very well by the Maryville faithful. Very polite folks and I certainly appreciate it. 

I"m with you guys on blocking this name change. You point me to a petition to save it and I'll put my John Hancock right there with the rest of you. I'm just ready for some football!
