I must know a lot less about 1A this year than I thought.

Either Marion County is underrated in 2A or Fayetteville may be a little high after that loss? Same with Huntingdon? After McKenzie loss? Maybe McKenzie is underrated. That's why I say I must not know as much about 1A compared to what I think I know about 2A. I'd make a good weatherman I guess. I can predict weather just fine and still get paid to be wrong.

Last year there were a handful of 1A teams that were head and shoulders above the rest. This year probably just 1. The rest will be a crap shoot.

Yeah, first games really dont tell alot. Huntingdon and Waverly will be a separation game in the polls I believe as Waverly isnt even ranked in 2A in the AP after a big win and Huntingdon is ranked 3rd in 1A after a loss even though it's against a respected McKenzie team this season. Waverly should have made the poll imo.

I’ll agree on SP being in the #1 spot but the rest of them is out of whack. But it will work out in a few more games.

If Gordy stays healthy they will be knocking at the door of those top 5 spots.. They have really good size and speed for a 1/ 2 A team.

I am a Fayetteville fan, but we are not #4 with what I saw last Friday. Potential to be yes...but only if the line plays much better.

Lake County had number 2 is a big question. LC won it all last year but lost several starters and they have a new coach. LC should be a good team this year. How good remains to be seen.
