I’m guessing a long night for HV.

HV actually beat Cloudland by 2 scores, same as last year, both teams just scored more. I feel pretty good about it. Gotta contain the little back for most the night and limit mistakes. Think that will seal the deal. Should get a kid or 2 back this week, that should help.

Yeah I watched the biggest part of their game. I haven’t saw Hampton this year but I’m just making an educated guess.

What gives

Preparing these young men on Friday nights is a tough challenge the way this crazy mess is right now. Glad who is on the sidelines for us to do just that.  The running game is stout for the dogs. Contain Hv’s back and control line of scrimmage is the key. If they can do that I like our chances.

Hard to predict this early, we are playing several young kids as well. Looked pretty good the other night but surely not a finished product. Hopefully we,ll fix some things this week. Think we'll be pretty solid by the end of the season,at least thats the goal.

Just gotta work everything in by playoff time. With a whole new set of skill kids,it'll take time. I see potential.

You know how flags go in this match-up...Hate to end up in a close game at the end again. I'd like to see a replay of two days ago minus the fumbles. It was a hard hitting, hard running game, kept em spread out and the flags were few.

Gonna change some things up a little this week. Try to fix some things we messed up, its a work in progress. Think we'll be a better team by week 10 than we were a year ago.  Got a good group of kids ho come to work, thats a big plus. Got some hidden  talent that should be added to the mix as the weeks go by. My cup is over half full.

I have ? Not trying to make you mad. With your schedule how will you know how good you really are at the end of the year. You will more than likely have a running clock after halftime in all of your games till the playoffs.

    • What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.
