Dad burn it, what is this mess? I invited you up before but had not thought about the other two times you attended a Randolph man's game and the losses that came with it, one of those being FC last season.

In all seriousness, I will be there around six setting up radio equipment and would love to meet up.

Yeah,  I saw yall at Fayetteville and then again at Huntland last year.  I was able to attend a few more games as they fell on different days from when SP was playing.

Funny thing,  I've been to Huntland twice this year while only attending our lone home game at SP.  Strange year.  This is our original scheduled open date.

In addition to the awesome Cornersville crowd, I think you will have the majority of the Moore Co fan base there rooting for Cornersville for the reasons you mentioned and the fact they are off this week. It will be an extremely difficult for a young City team to play in, but I will be there pulling for City regardless.

My hope is for another good region game where no one gets hurt. I also hope the adults act like the adults and let the kids be the kids. I am guilty myself in getting to wrapped up in the game and acting like an idiot. That’s not an example I want to set. It also takes away from the actual game when people leave talking more about the fans than the game. The weather should be perfect. Hope we see a good one tonight!

Good point on Moore County being represented in Frog Bottom tonight.

EDIT:  I expect a well fought region showdown with 2 contrasting styles of play. I hope and pray both teams are able to play to their full ability, no injuries and the crowd gets their money's worth.

It is definitely going to be a packed house tonight with big time region and playoff implications. Excited for tonight and agree with you that the adults act like adults. In the heat of the moment, things tend to happen with us a armchair refs and coaches. Prayer for an injury free game and that everyone makes it home the same way they came.

Are there cutoff numbers for tickets?

Game Day!!!  The Tigers should take care of business tonight.  I plan to cheer at least as loud as 4 or 5 Cornersville/MC fans.  Does Cornersville still have the DJ under a tent?   See y'all later. GO TIGERS!

The DJ should be in full effect tonight. Been so long since we had a home game. Last three weeks on the road or didn't play.

Moore County will be busy with the Lynchburg Musicfest tonight and all weekend, as the football team is working it. Good luck to Cornersville!!!

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
