I watched this game on YouTube.  Fayetteville just looked wore out in the 2nd half.  Holy ran the ball well for Gordy and got the first downs when needed.

Gordonsville was the better team tonight and deserved the win. Their players were better. Their coaches were better. Their crowd was better. Our band was our lone bright spot. Thank goodness Gordonsville didn’t bring their band.

I hate to say yes because that sounds like an excuse and we still had chances to win and just didn’t get it done. But to answer your question, I do think it makes a big difference...very similar to the difference in how we played with and without them against Cornersville  

But I don’t want to take anything away from Gordonsville. They are a good team and flat out played better than us. Congrats on the win and good luck the rest of the way. Their RB #10 is really good player. As the game went on, we had a very difficult time containing him and our offense couldn’t do much of anything. That could be because Gordonsville did such a good job getting in our backfield.

I feel  like #4 is the best player on the team, im not taking anything away from #3 because he has a chance to be special, but if it wasn't #4s first year playing, he would be the starter at QB. 

I would have loved to have seen these two teams as full strength .  FC has some good looking players and I think will come out of the west.
