There are currently 295 public schools playing football this fall according to TSSAA website.

Summit will likely go in the region with the Williamson County schools. Shelbyville and possibly Coffee County may go in a region with five Rutherford County schools, minus Stewarts Creek, Smyrna and LaVergne

So with Gallatin, Beech, Summit and Shelbyville all moving up then there has to be some 6A schools dropping down.  Any idea who they are?

Station Camp, Mt. Juliet and Wilson Central are three from the midstate that are dropping I think. The others may be from other parts of the state...Heritage, Morristown West and McMinn County.

I counted 9 current 5A teams moving up and about that many 6A moving down.

Noticed Seymour was 710, they are 5A currently and that’d put them in 3A.
