The game was 8-8 late in the 3rd. We just ran out of gas. I saw what was happening when we started limping around so we left at the end of the 3rd. I said girls it's about to get ugly.  Those handful of plays we run work well when the other team isn't strong and physical.  The backs couldn't get any yards after contact and it took its toll in the 2nd half

Well you left at a good time. 14-8 to start the 4th not much to say after that.

Late to the party here. But I'm not at all surprised at the result of this game. The one time I saw Volunteer this year I was not impressed at all, got manhandled by a very mediocre Central team. I figured Hampton would have a night.

Hampton was by far the better team going in.They finished the way the should!
