Very good point! I was thinking the same thing. Spring Hill has gave tough teams really good tests this year. I feel like they’ll defeat Lawrence County putting DC on upset alert.

Spring Hill - Lawrence County (Spring Hill)

Marshall Co. - Nolensville (Marshall County in a close one)

Macon Co. - LA (Macon Co.)

So, Dekalb Co. - Spring Hill.....Dekalb should win, but like others have said, don't overlook Spring Hill. They are getting better each week.

Marshall Co. - LA......Marshall Co. by as much as they want. 

Nolensville - Macon Co.....Nolensville in a close one.

Tullahoma - Stone Memorial.......Tullahoma picks the score. 

Setting up Dekalb - Marshall Co. and Nolensville - Tullahoma. 

Those 2 games will be interesting. Dekalb Co. does have some playmakers but Marshall Co. can match them. Tullahoma and Nolensville will meet for a 2nd time within 3 weeks. Adjustments on both sides will be made.

I think Marshall County overlooked them and the score reflected it.  We didnt respond well to what they were doing defensively.

Word around DC is that our season is over. Could be wrong but that’s what I just heard. Schools switched to fully remote learning starting tomorrow and cases are on the rise. 
 

EDIT: I would like to state that this is just early texts and posts I’m reading and seeing. I’m pretty sure our last game is for sure a forfeit. I really really hope I end up being wrong about playoffs as well.

This is what you don’t want to hear. DC was just catching good momentum leading into the post season

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
