Incorrect, Croz. I have disliked everything about gordy since the 80's. I just discovered  the coacht forum when we had barker the disaster. I have disliked your current coach since he did flips in our end zone as a player.

Jimmy! What year was you a Jacket? You can dislike all you want fact is Clem or myself never lost to the Jackets as players. In fact the year before the head rolls what was the score on the creekbank?  Yeah I know ancient history but your holding a 30 plus year grudge also qualifies!

I had already graduated and was sporting 3 rings Mr main street at that game. Do you have a ring?

gordy never beat TC when I was a Jacket.

It was a classless move by a still classless coach. Sort of like a gordy player kicking someone in the head when they were down last year. Sound Familiar?

I know what the score ended up being last time...but Clay was knocking on the door a few times. I think Gordonsville had a long pick 6 as well. This game may be tight.

No pick sixes in the last game. However, the defense did set us up nicely a few times.

Clay had negative yards rushing against us.

Wouldn’t miss it.  I help with the broadcast these days.  Gonna be a fun one.  Hopefully our boys will be ready to play this time around.  I’ve had a bad taste in my mouth since 9-18-20.  It’ll definitely take a big effort to win at Turney Ford Field.  We’ve only won there twice (‘96 and ‘03) in the past 25 years.  This will be the 71st meeting overall and 3rd in the playoffs (1st Round ‘83 and ‘84).  You guys are 43-26-1 in the series.

Ok, I listened to a little of the broadcast from the last game, mostly pregame, and I got the impression you guys really hate Gville.

I think one of the guys broadcasting played QB when I played in the 90's.

You seem like a guy that probably still goes to the high school parties with your letterman jacket and state championship rings on. Do I have you pegged right??

Nope.

Good try.

My rings are in a bank lockbox.

My parents have my jacke in a cedar chest in their attic.

I like to drink my corn in private.

Keep stalking.

Just because y'all have beat us so much Croz!  Tremendous respect for Gville, but laced with a lot of hard feelings!!!

I agree, I feel Clay is going to play very well tonight. If this game was played on paper Gordonsville would have a touchdown advantage due to the play in the trenches. When 44 is playing his best our run defense is very, very good. 10 for Gordonsville has ran extremely hard in the second half of the season as well. It will be a good playoff atmosphere at Turney Ford Field considering the circumstances, and I am looking forward to it!

Yeah I got me one ring back when it was three classes and every game meant something! If you got three rings before 87 and 88 you got them somewhere other than Hartsvegas!  Anyhow both of is old and can gumbeat each other to the end of time. Tell my old buddy Hal Hailey one of his Gordonsville buddies said hello!

    • Yeah, but if he goes to Science Hill they are guaranteed at least a win over Kingsport and that's basically the NET Superbowl
    • I expect Sevier County might be pretty good, perhaps Mo West as well.     But I don't see either of them getting out of round 2.          The rest of the region gets smoked in round 1.            Except for those once-in-a-blue-moon anomaly years the NET big schools are pretty much the same every season.
    • Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton
    • My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
    • I understand Gibson Co. will be announced tomorrow with a familiar name. Not sure about So. Gibson.
