Y’all don’t have a shot lol. Naw I say the key to the game for Lexington will be time of possession! If Haywood don’t stop them on 3rd & 3 it will be Lexington 28-14

If Haywood controls the ball & connects on the many 50/50 balls that they do... I think Haywood makes it close but falls 24-21! Lexington kicker will be the determining factor! Not sure if Haywood has a kicker.

We have an excellent kicker actually who can punt, kick field goals and put it in the back of the end zone just as good as Connor wood sir. Don’t have a shot? Lol ok

The fact you think we can’t get stops is laughable

There is one advantage that Haywood’s coach could use that Lexington can’t. He can put in the tape of last year’s semi final loss and ask his guys if they remember that feeling and if they do, do they want to have that same feeling again. Haywood was physically better than us last year yet somehow lost. That can be a huge motivational tool if he wants to use it. Good luck to the Tomcats.

I have no doubt. I still go back and watch the video stream your radio guys did and laugh when they just can’t believe how small we were compared to Haywood. I think Smith got out coached last year, and maybe that helps y’all this year with him having that game under his belt. Being at home benefits HC as well.

We missed a chip shot field goal at the end of regulation we make 90 percent of the time. You guys did a great job taking advantage of field conditions. You are right, I believe a lot was learned last year. We were really looking forward to the rematch.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
