It’s just stats my friend. Mainly to show that Peabody plays a weak schedule and that regardless of those stats, Waverly who you are obviously already looking over based on your posts, will be there Friday with gloves off ready to punch the Tide in the mouth.

Okay Peabody has been dealing with this so called weak schedule for several years now.  But we still have GOLD  to show for it.  The cream always rise to the top.  We were fortunate to win last night. But never underestimate the heart of a champion.  If you guys don't have McKenzie talent and McKenzie coaching, we win and we win big.  No disrespect.  I was wrong with my predictions last night and I could very well be wrong Friday.  What history shows is When Peabody pulls out a win that could have gone either way, we respond with a since of urgency.  Wavo will play us close for a while but tthe cream will rise again.  Going to be a lot of trash talking all week.  So put on your big boy pants.

Peabody fears none but respects all my ####. Looks like you are showing a lot of respect for Waverly. That’s ok. Waverly will earn it Friday.

Waverly has always been a threat to us.  Nothing has changed.  Those guys are talented and they play hard. But this will be Tennessee Titans vs the Colts.  And I am the biggest Tennessee fan in Tennessee.  But at some point we got to be realistic.  I told you I could be wrong.  You are basing your comments on what you know about the Tigers and I about the Tide. I have been dormant for most of the season, but it's something about the playoffs that brings the TIGER out of me.

I pray for a clean and injury free game with the winner being as close to 100% as possible going into championship game. It also makes me wonder what kind of season the Gibson County team could of had in a COVID free year.  Waverly was really the only week Gibson County was near 100% and honestly should of won. Being a small team and having to deal with 6 to 10 starters out every week made it hard to put it all together each Friday.

Who the posters may be overlooking is irrelevant.

I can assure you Shane Jacobs and his staff are not overlooking anyone.

You have seen us play in person so it means a lot than to say you watched film. With that said I think we are the only two on here that has seen both teams play healthy. What’s your take on the game?

I think for waverly to win they need to pound the ball with the big back and run the qb. I think the qb is a better runner than a thrower. They will need to keep us off the field with long drives. I don’t see waverly pulling the guard and running a sweep with Houston because I think we have the advantage in speed on defense. They ran that play several times against riverside. I think Peabody can run the ball on waverly.

 What do you think ?

I don't know yet.  This is the semis and anything can happen but if they don't have McKenzie type talent, they don't will have to be creative to win.
