Actually last year's Peabody was the best,if you remember everyone on the T said we would have a HUGE drop off this year,maybe we did,maybe we didn't ,no one said Waverly would be good ,but you are !

Lol we don’t have to prove anything by winning state this year. Whatever happens it’s been a great year with 12 wins. Waverly is the one that has to prove themselves against the tide. Js

Yea I mean we don’t always win, but it makes our kids better and definitely battle tested. This year has been tough. Young group of kids, early was a learning curve, had the entire Covid fiasco, now they are gaining momentum. Lost some key guys to injury. This team has overcome a lot

Teams like this are very dangerous.  Huntingdon is always a tough out.  You guys take pride in yalls division.  That is good.  I just look at the success our region from 7A to 72A winning the Gold in the last ten years.  That's not to say you guys don't have a tough schedule.  The best teams always rise to the top.  Final 4: Waverly, Meigs, Trousdale, Peabody.  Can't wait till Friday. And good luck in 3A.

I heard even perry county even turned ya down even though ya offered half the gate lol

Funniest crap ever I’m so done with this thread it’s a freaking shame. You are the biggest homer ever. I won’t post again until game time. You Peabody fans need to make up your mind either you started a ton of freshman last year or your just blowing smoke with the sophomore comments.

Your Milan game was basically a scrimmage with absolutely no preseason. Milan would mop the floor with this Peabody team now.

Fairley was last year! Nobody said anything about yalls schedule last year.

Qb is a sophomore and one of our linebackers  is a sophomore. There may be others not sure. You can poke fun all you want but Milan is better than anyone y’all played even in the first game. Huntingdon got beat by mckenzie. Riverside got beat by Lexington. The linebacker who is a sophomore started at linebacker against meigs as a freshman. The safety started last year. One of the corners defensive tackle started last year. Both offensive tackles. The center and a couple wide receivers. Oh and Vaughn was starting at linebacker and running the ball till he broke his foot.

As a casual observer in this thread I must say that I find it amusing how Milan is continually used to measure the size of each team’s jock strap. This tells me Milan football is back to the level it needs to be at. Of course me being from Gibson Co I will pull for Poohbooty but I have a lot of respect for Waverly and think they are preparing for a war with the Tide. Good luck to both from this dawg.

      Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.

      It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.

      Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.

      Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
