Those 4 Forrest rushers are 191/961 thru 6 games. 5.03 YPC.

Wilson and Bennett also have rushes and rushing TDs.

Bennett throws a pick for every 5.5 pass attempts. He has zero passing touchdowns. His completion percentage is less than 50%.

I blame the brilliant Forrest staff for this. It IS Rocket Science. Get the ball out of his hands in 3-4 seconds MAX. Sometimes 1-2 seconds.  Shorter routes. Get the guys the ball in stride and let them run like crazy. This ain't difficult. Instead it's 25 -30 seconds and he heaves it into traffic. How does the staff not see this?

I can tally some stuff for Forrest thru last week. For some reason there still isnt a Cascade recap posted.

I can spend 20 minutes looking at Tribune articles or the live stream and have the entire seasons stats done and sent in to media to give the kids a little exposure. Why isn't it being done if the other region teams can do it for their kids?

Quick review of Forrest QB's since 2018.

2018 - Josh Meglis - 6'2" 175 pounds athletic enough to play FS. Senior. Finishes the year with 42 completions at 43% and -50 yards rushing, that's negative 50. He's currently starting QB at a D3 or NAIA school in Kentucky. Last week he threw for 300 yds and 3 TDs completing almost 30 passes in one game.

2019-2020 - Max Kirby - 6'2" 200 pounds. athletic enough to play FS and get a baseball scholarship.  Junior year. Finishes the year with 48 completions at 62% and 93 yards rushing.  Senior year. 39 completions at  48% , 106 yards rushing.

2021 - Hunter Bennett - 6'1 175 pounds. athletic enough to play point guard on high school team and AAU basketball team that travels around US. Through 6 games. 22 completions at 44%,  126 yards rushing. (55 are on one play vs Marion JV)

You can count on one hand the number of 1A/2A coaches in the state who have had more talented upper classmen running their programs in the last 4 years. We've had an athletic senior QB 3 of 4 years.  I would say this group would be in the top 15, maybe top 10  in 1A and 2A ball since 2018 based on ability but ranks in the bottom based on production. Meglis had as good an arm as anyone in 1A/2A, he could roll left and flick the ball 55 yards downfield on a rope across his body.  Kirby was one of the best unused dual threat QB for two years. Instead they were limited to bootleg passes on 3rd and long. Bennett hasn't touched a football since 9th grade and has made plays all year when put in good situations. To say we have underachieved at this position based on the player's available is a huge understatement.  Team doesn't have a clue who will take snaps next year, just like they didn't have a clue last year at this time.

Forrest really spreads it out and all the backs are really good with the ball in their hands.

Cascade is the only one without any stats posted here and I looked it up from their local paper.

Ryan Inmon:

Passing 21-50 428 yards 3 TD 4 INT

Rushing 124 Carries 809 yards 9 TD

Xamarion Dixon:

 66 Carries 285 2 TD

Connor Huie:

51 Carries 255 5 TD

    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
    • Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
