I'm hearing Covid has hit some of Briarcrest's better players.  Assumptions always get me in trouble BUT I assume this is why they have been swapped with Ravenwood.  Brentwood plays Ravenwood now in the first game this afternoon at 4:30.

 

Per MaxPrep, 13 of the top 15 teams in the state will be at this tournament.  This also includes highly ranked teams from AL and KY.  I can't think of a tournament that has had so many top teams in it.  Whoever wins should hold their head high.

Agree winner will have to earn it but as I said before only practice games for the rest of them

Played 3out of 5 only 2 in our pool / Briarcrest won 25-22 - -22-25 - 25 21 25 19 know head ref never refed before & don’t know if he’s ever seen a game - but Summertown played great

Looks like a great effort against a tough team whether they are at full strength or not. Hope you get a favorable draw in the crossover tomorrow.

I see Hickman Co dropped both of their matches and their next match is Hillsboro who beat Hume Fogg earlier…so HC looks destined for copper or bronze tourney tomorrow.

Camden goes 1-1 with a loss to Franklin and beating DAR out of AL. So I think they still have a chance at silver depending on how crossover matches go.

They want to put Summertown in lowest bracket since we lost ( which is bs ) they’ve screwed us all day but as long as Wilco teams are put on platter they could care less bout small schools SAD

Looks like you play #3 finisher in the Camden, Franklin, DAR bracket for Crossover match. With a win that probably gets you bronze bracket. There will still be some decent teams in that bracket. Not everyone can make gold and silver and there are lots of good teams there.

Guess I need get off my ranting accept what can’t be changed / maybe play some teams the caliber of 1A but we hate to   Hard to get up for some teams

I seriously doubt "They" are drawing up brackets just so "they" cann screw over a single A team.  "They" probably can't find Summertown on a map so I really doubt "they" have beef with Summertown.  And please, please tell me how Wilco teams are put on a platter?

Silver is more than a fair shake for you guys in a big tourney like this. You guys just got a tough draw.  BC is one of the better teams all classification. Hillsboro isn’t a ‘great’ team, but they are def. the best MNPS and much improved over the last few years. 

I obviously didn’t see any of the games, but Camden and Hickman County seem to have struggled. Time for everyone to get back to regular season and work toward those post season goals!!
