2A top 15 according to tn highschool football website

Seeing South Greene in person I can say with some knowledge that unless they return nearly all of their team they are not a top 10 team. Top 15 definitely, but the only player of note was their qb. His ability to scramble was a thing of beauty. Not dissing them by any means but I saw what I saw. Going 10-0 against easy teams got them a higher ranking than they deserve imo. It's mind boggling that they beat Hampton. I guess that's just how rivalries go sometimes though.

I agree COMPLETELY!If they lost 5 or 6 Sr starters it's a no brainer in my opinion.

2a has a lot of good teams this year and depth is what I should of said. Should make for a interesting season and playoffs.

What about the Memphis school, they didn’t play last year might have a team there that could shock everybody in the season and playoffs. Js

There will be no shocks in 1A this year.PB,FV,Mk,LC,SP all are worthy and have the Talent to win it all in 1A.2A is a toss up with Meigs leading the way right now but are not the clear cut fav right now.Peabody of course SHOULD win it in 1A but man there is some good competition in 1A!

I was there at that playoff game last year. The quarterback for South Greene was very talented kid made a lot of plays out of nothing. Like to have seen him play on a Meigs kind of team

Our qb is better, I'll just throw it out there. Luke was good but under pressure he buckled. Never seen our qb do that against a good team.

1.Meigs- just keep re-loading have lost 2 regular season games since 2016!  Unreal talent

2. Marion- speed and the beating they gave 5A Rhea showed true potential. 

3. Hampton- big, big!! QB overlooked; May be best secret in 2A  

4/5. Trousdale/Watertown. Excitement in Hartsville seems fever pitch.
