After 2 quarters against Dresden, Simpson was 11-12 for 244 yards and at the end he was 20-24 325 yards and 107 rushing. Westview let off the gas in the second half. Dresden is no slouch but they're not Peabody either. Westview knows what they are facing Friday but they will go out there and do the best they can. If and only if our Defense can show up and play then Westview will have a chance. 35-28 Westview.

Dresden doesn’t have 2 300lb tackles a defensive end that runs a 4.4 and the other de is 6’4 230. Our linebackers are better than Dresden’s also. With that being said we have to lay hands on Simpson and pressure him if we don’t it will be tough.   I think we pound the ball also and control the clock

True. Westview can score on anyone their offense is truly dangerous it’s best to keep them off the field as much as possible. Getting into a shootout with them is a bad idea for anyone. If only their defense was just as strong as their offense.

That is definitely the recipe for y'all's victory. If Westview finds a way to get up 2 scores or a score and a possession all that could go out the window.

Buddy if that happens, go ahead and give the gold ball in 2A to Westview, there is not a team in 2A this year that could beat Peabody by 21

I agree his prediction seems out there but with a talent like Simpson and the recievers they have you never know !! I will say the Tide will be ready and if they don’t have a top notch line Mr Bama will run fo this life all night and will not win that battle with our D Ends or Linebackers ! Looking for a packed house again at Walter Kilzer Stadium in little old Trenton Tn

So Westview is going to basically score the same amount of points on Trenton that they did on Dresden, and Trenton is only going to score 14 points.....I’m not sure which is more far fetched.  Got to remember that it’s a Tab Vowell defense too you are talking  about

To be fair they had 35 on Dresden at half. I don't agree with his prediction though

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
