Lewis County never plays anyone decent during the regular season and if they do, they always get beat. That is why they are always put out by the second round of the playoffs. If you guys are even a semblance of last years team, it will be an easy win for y’all.

By looking at their schedule this year, I have a feeling it will be a “down year” for them.

Eight seniors from our state championship team graduated last May, a few of whom were starters.  So, we have the essence of the team back, but you can never take anything for granted and you can’t predict injuries, emotions and testosterone on the field/sidelines, adrenaline in the moment, fluke plays, or, these days, COVID19!

My mind is still not made up about this LC team. We lost several key players from last year, some from graduation, 3 to transfer and some decided not to play. There's some very good players back. Starting a Freshmen QB for the first time since David Sharp in 2001 (?) is proven to be a plus. He played well and was 7 0f 13 for 80 yards with and 80 yarder called back. The line on both sides of the ball is unproven and the jury is still out. This week the boys better buckle them up tight and turn up their game if they have any chance.

This translates to:

”down season”

which means Lewis county might win three-four games because it’s a “down year” not that they have a higher quality schedule. For those who don’t know it’s because of Covid/players not playing or plaing for LC, etc.. Not because of a decent schedule.
