It is canceled from my understanding. Union City should also be canceled. They played against LC this past Friday plus they had the fair last week. We shall see if all schools do the same thing.

It is up to the schools as well as their district unless rules have changed, contact trace doesn’t equal you have to cancel

LC is canceled and do not know were the contact happened at. By all rights both teams should have to quarantine but I kind of doubt that will happen. This stuff sucks and is going to ruin more than one schools football season.

Contact tracing is BS.  I'm told Obion County Schools don't do contact tracing. Don't know if that is correct.  I know of a student that was placed in quarantine 8 times last season by LC administration and was never sick at all. This madness has to stop.  Covid is destroying senior's and team's seasons. What do you do? Nobody knows......

I’m not sure I follow your reasoning. If the contact was after the game then no union city shouldnt cancel their game. I was told it was up to school if they were doing contact tracing.

It is not up to the schools to contact trace. That is set forth by the state dept of education and the state department of health. Union city may not be contact tracing but they should be based on the mandate from the aforementioned entities, trust me I've been contact tracing since March of last year on my job.

Different districts doing different things some very strict some not …..not uniform across the state
