Just to help make you understand, Meigs kids would rather take a 50-0 beating than a 1-0 covid win to keep a record intact. They practice, they condition, they are about getting better every day they take the field. So I really do disagree with the mentality of punishment because not taking the field is more punishment than anything else they can throw at the kids. That being said, the school is penalized in a fashion that you lose your home game with said team. It means next year the way it works We will have to go to Kings to play them there since we missed it there this year. No gate etc and probably only 4 home games next year. To me all of that is enough. I wish every game forfeit was a no loss for the team that forfeits and a win for the team who had the forfeiture against them. At least during this covid nonsense. I believe that's how it works in the region games anyway If I understand correctly.
