Richland--Cornersville pretty much had their way. Made some mistakes and stupid penalties. I chalk it up to game one on the season. Final 31-7. How good is Richland????

Forrest--Defensive battle both sides, and a great game to watch if you like defense. In county rivalry that was renewed. Final 16-6. How good is Forrest?????

Huntland--Lost their top RB that gashed Cornersville last season to Fayetteville on Wednesday before the game. First live game action for Huntland on the season. Cornersville absolutely dominated on defense and had a good offensive game. Could have been more if not for a fumble through the endzone. Final 39-0. How good id Huntland????

 

This Cornersville defense reminds me of the defense of 18 with the string of shut outs. Tough, physical, ball hawking, shut down type. I know nothing of CC and what they bring, but sounds like a tough test for both teams Friday night. Excited for this one!

we haven't played them in a few years, but historically in football they don't travel very well, basketball is a different story up there.  Here recently in the last couple years their football teams have been respectable so that may have changed.

Yes, I am from Clay County and big fan of the football program and I believe we get beat (soundly).

Imagine thinking Celina is going to come steal a win, at one of the top environments in 1A football, AFTER a 3.5 hour drive.
