Haywood vs Jackson Northside

BUTTT, they lack special teams. They lack creativity on offense. Their offensive playbook is monotonous and boring. It's the same 10-15 plays. QB doesn't have the best arm in velocity. Studying film is the study guide to the test. Simple.

This is not a big physical football team, they're pretty small. They have been pretty small for a while. Why am I not convince in Jesse Powell? Why do I not believe in the guy? It's the same 7-3/6-4 season with a potential win in the first round and exit in the second round. North Side is 1-10 I believe against teams that finished with a record of .500 or better since the 2019 season. The lone with was against South Gibson this year. That record is approaching Mickey Marley territory when he was at USJ.

Haywood will win this game with ease, 42-20.

I saw the same 10 or 15 plays at the Jamboree.

That’s almost the same score cal preps got for Hardin County and Lexington. 31-10 we shall see how accurate cal preps is.

Cool...I was posting a Cal Preps prediction on the Hardin Co. - Lexington thread at the same time you posted this.  Good luck to your Tigers.

I noticed that both the Cal Preps and the Jackson Sun predict a 21 point Haywood victory.  I hope we win and win by a comfortable margin.  Close games are more exciting, but not for my ticker...lol.

If you are worried about your ticker, I find it amazing you lived through the 2019 SGC v Haywood game in Medina. It stands as the greatest high school football game I have ever been a part of.

North Side appears to be a 2nd half team, and the Indians have the ability to score quick.  Their passing game concerns me.  

After being held scoreless in the first half of the Covington game, the Indians scored 20 second half points...one touchdown through the air, and two rushing touchdowns.   Dehmari Wallace completed 13 of 20 passes for 171 yards, and the Indians picked up 110 yards on 25 carries.

Against South Gibson, Wallace threw for 227 yards and three touchdowns on 14 of 26 passing and rushed for 224 yards and 2 touchdowns on 25 carries.  The Indians overcame South Gibson's  21 point lead in the 2nd half scoring on a 45 yard TD pass with 5.2 seconds left to win the game.

This game could be closer than we think.  Haywood has to stay focused.
