Yeah, it has been an extremely odd year, for sure. So happy for the Bravos though. Awesome series, and glad they finally got that LA monkey off their backs.

I loved it when Freddie stepped on the LA Monkey and his guts went squirting all ove first base. NASA after the Braves are done with the Asros your name will stand for Need Anoter Seven Astronuts.

BEWARE...Dark Humor Up Above. If you are offended you probably shouldn't have read it. Don't ya think?

Dark humor is like food, not everyone gets it….

A pretty bland DB team, a weak offensive team OR fumbles and not finishing drives let them escape with a win.  I would have to say that Science Hill may torch them next week unless they get some breaks. SH is more athletic and can score points,

I would agree with you except that the Toppers can't seem to get it together as a team, they are just a bunch of talented unintegrated parts.    They should have beat us by 40 and yet squeaked out a measly 3 point win.     I do think SH wins this game but if DB catches some breaks it could go either way.

Kinda late with the WWA t-shirt report but I had my 60th high school reunion this weekend and being Chairman I was kinda busy. Had a hard time but finally came up with a new player #14 got a shirt. Boy this season sure has been loooong.

Blazer1set I think you just hit upon Oak Ridge's problem ... We have some very talented players but they are very unintegrated!

OR and AC are having an off years, they come up every once in a while even to good programs, the combination of injuries, graduation losses, narrow losses on the field can snowball into one of those seasons,  Hopefully they are rare. OR years like that I can remember are: 1972 5-5, 1986 4-6, 1992 5-5, 2008 4-6, 2021 2-7, hopefully 3-7 by Friday.

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
