Little Josh's is closed! I heard that they're planning to do a food trailer or takeout business, but that's all word of mouth and not official. Best fish and trimmings around...I really hope that they go back to normal!

Oh man! That is terrible!  With my job with Bethel I got to Lewis Co and Perry co a lot.  I always plan visits on Thursdays.

Go through Hohenwald and eat at Junkyard Dog. We don't go that often because there's no other attraction there and it's almost 2 hours, but if you're going to be near there for any reason, that's the place. Not on your direct route, but the Brass Lantern in Lawrenceburg isn't far from Summertown either, and it's great too.

Where we are headed. Thanks.

This is McKenzie's year, they have to be the favorite to win the Gold Ball but they have never been there and that’s a problem, look out for an upset in the first round. North Green has been there and will be tough to beat. Gleason is setup perfect with the draw so my  team to win it all this year is the Gleason Bulldogs.

Go Bulldogs!

Looks like it’s setting up perfect, now let’s make it a Gleason vs Dresden final.  Go Weakley County!

WV is pulling for our county teammates in Gleason & Dresden. No disrespect Mckenzie. I believe if Mckenzie can shoot well in the open gym setting and rebound, they’re the favored going in. They’re going to try to speed it up and run you out of the gym. Don’t know much about North Green, but I believe they have a good post. Clay County is streaky and sometimes that’s an unknown. Gleason & Dresden are physical and hard nosed. Anderson from Gleason can take it to the rim with the best of them. 1A will be very exciting to watch.

    • Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton
    • My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
    • I understand Gibson Co. will be announced tomorrow with a familiar name. Not sure about So. Gibson.
    • A huge addition to the staff today! Former Hardin Valley legend and Richmond College running back Aaron Dykes was announced as the running backs coach. Rushed for over 3,000 yards at HVA, with 35 total touchdowns. I loved watching in Hardin Valley. I can’t believe he’s at Bearden now. I know he was trying to get a HVA job, I don’t know what happened there and how he ended up at Bearden, but I'm glad he’s here and believe he will be teaching art class as well! What a good get for the staff!!
    • Thoughts? Gordonsville won it last year with a sophomore pitcher and returned almost everybody. Can anyone beat them?
