Rankin just retired from Alcoa and said he would possibly be interested in coaching again in Chattanooga or Murfreesboro to be near family. Could you make a better football hire from a resume standpoint? One of the national leaders in wins looks pretty solid to me.

Check the out the athletes Kimrey had at Hammond, he can pull in some big time athletes.

I think you guys made a great hire! He was only at USC two years, prior to that he won 12 state titles at Hammond. Sounds like a Carlton Flatt type of guy.

I’m a big Coach Rankin fan. But, he is in his late 60’s and is not going to coach forever. The guy you all got will likely stay much longer than Gary would have.

Booger thinkin that them raiders had a QB show up a few years ago.......he also like to find a new school ever year bouncin round public schools over in the valley over on the other side of monteagle until he got an offer over at suk creek......they chatted bout how much shine he had....anybody remember how that worked out

....havin that ex FL and SC headed coaches name boardin up at suk creek may be just enough to stop that tornado from rippin them raider alum big tailgate party every year
