Congratulations to South Side and prayers to Lily Baggett for South Gibson as she had a leg injury last night. Don’t know details but may not be good regarding rest of year.

I hate to watch any player go down with an injury! I hope & pray for a healthy report today or tomorrow. She went down a few months ago and came right back, so I hope the same this time! She is a heck of a ball player!

Think she has a small break in her fibula. Doubt she is back this season. But I agree prayers for her and her family and her team. I know South Side has went through their share of injuries and know what they are going through. Good luck to you guys going forward. When do y’all play again??

You haven’t been wrong on here too much(or if any) but I hope your wrong about her fibula. We are definitely praying for Baggett & the SG family

Just looking at Facebook. I hope she is not as well but it don’t sound good. If she is out, they will have to rally and play for her. South Side knows all about that. You lost Currie-Jelks twice and others and showed resilience and came back. GC in 2020 lost Macey Neal and we inserted Evyn Cantrelle and Zoey Neal and we were in Final Four when Covid sent us home. Somebody for South Gibson may get their chance on the big stage. You know how it is. Have to make do with what you got. Still think South Gibson will be tough for another opponent especially in Region.

Oh yea we definitely know the feeling. That next man up only goes so far, especially if that player is a 15 12 person!

I think they could beat those three teams no problem.  Upperman would give page no problems especially with the slow post they play and the press they run.  Livingston Academy does not shoot it well enough behind the arc to give Page issues and they will let them have it if they want.  White County has post players but their guard play is suspect and that is where Page would make them pay.  Do these teams match with page in Sectionals or regionals?
