It should be fun! I went to the game at Page and I have seen a lot of basketball games. I will not get into my predictions but if & when we see Page it should be fun! I hope they hold that #1 spot till the first week of March lol. #3 is a decent player for page

In 2019 our team was mean defensively and some games even at state we shot 28% from field but was disciplined and didn’t foul and got fouled and made FT’s in these ugly defensive games. You just know when you get in these wars points are hard sometimes. South Side scores 45-50 especially 50 I like y’all’s chances the way y’all play defense. They all are good late February early March. Lots of these teams are pretty equal. Just got to see who gets hot and is poised and dialed in. I am not going to get into any predictions either. Lots of good teams out there.

I like the 65-70 games, that means we are running & gunning! That’s our style of ball, but like we both know at state it’s a much different game. It’s a slowed dwn game 32-40 game is typical of a game you would see. Make your easy shots that you get & make your free throws & don’t foul! Get hot from district to region & substate! Then you got 3 more games to stay hot!

No doubt. I just think most teams will have problems scoring 50 against y’all. JMO. You know how these games get late in the year where defense rules some times.

on any given night Cumberland is just as good as those 3. They crushed Livingston Academy and also lost in double OT to them. They lost very closely to Upperman.

White is good and I think they win tonight, but White has gotten very lucky that 2 teams in this district (Macon, Stone) are way down so I would not get too confident. Those 2 are not anywhere close to what they were. Upperman is down also. I have seen everyone in this district and Cumberland is every bit as good as White, Upperman, and Livingston. Don’t expect a running clock tonight. Cumberland’s main issue is inexperience both in players and coaching. They have the talent to win vs most teams. 

 

Cumberland is in a must win situation really. No one wants to play DeKalb in an elimination game. Cumberland probably doesn’t want Stone either but at least they know they can win vs them.
