I know what you're saying. I said all along that I hoped both teams would finish one and two in the district to avoid each other in the region but it just didn't happen. I still say you all go to state next year and compete

Yeah, when sis got hurt it changed the entire dynamic of the team.  She was starting to come into her own as a scorer and it made Benfield open all the time.

Well I hope you're right and I hope you can get a win or 2 at the glass house.   We got a ton of work to do this summer.

The 2 big girls was a mismatch for Hampton and they had anther girl that didn't miss from 3. Was one heck of a game and I felt really bad for 33 when she fouled out.

If you compare them to York Institute then no but for a 1a school, they are decent.  They are not a top 10 team by any stretch but Harriman came to play. The problem with Hampton is fouls.  It's going to bite them against a real good team.

If she doesn’t foul out, I believe it would’ve been a different outcome. Looked like she was pretty much having her way.

Yeah I thought the free throw line might be the difference maker tonight, Harriman shot a bunch and for the most part ,they made hampton pay.

I’m just completely dumbfounded that ng girls are going to the boro. That’s how you know the region and district were weak. If the girl from cloudland wouldn’t have got hurt they wouldn’t even be in that position.

Cloudland was VERY unfortunate to have 2 girls go down. Its not automatic that they would be in this position but the chances would have been 100 percent better. If the girls who got hurt recover well, they should be the favorites to win the region next year.

We will be the favorite anyway.  NG loses 4 seniors and Unaka won't have Ramsey to score all their points.  Cosby will be a tough out in regional next year and substate will be tough.
