Go on TikTok or Twitter and use that insult while fighting some Woke he/him idiot or a Trumper. And watch yourself get incinerated.

I’m too old for tik tok.  And it wasn’t an insult.  It was advice.

This is coachT.  Most try to be normal and such but I guess you’re different.  Please don’t bring that crap here.  This forum is usually good fun so leave that crap out.

First,I hope the young man is ok.I love to watch football and like most parents, enjoyed the ride when my son's played sports. I never want to see a young man hurt and definitely don't miss that part of having one on the field. I wish for both players, the young man from SH wouldn't have delivered that shot . There's nothing wrong with a good clean hit and we all love that about the sport as long as everyone gets up . We preach as parents and coaches to our young men,"get bigger, stronger, faster",and want them to be tough as nails. Sometimes, having control and doing the right thing gets cloudy with many players at every level.I hope once again the young man is ok from Elizabethtown,( he is a tough young man for sure) and the other gains an understanding of what his actions could have done and learns from it.None of us are perfect and we all make mistakes . It's what we do to correct them that defines us.Lord knows, I'm still learning, best to both teams going forward

An observation from someone not associated with either team. I have watched the replay numerous times and in slow motion. What bothers me is how the hit was laid. In slow mo you can see the helmet first hits at the neck area and then the player jumps upward into the chin area. Hard for me to believe that he wasn't trying to take the player out. Totally uncalled for. Praying that Cade makes a swift recovery and thankful that nothing worse came from that hit in that location.

Listen, the the targeting doesn't bother me a whole lot, kids still do it sometimes because of bad habits. If it'd been a bang-bang play and he was just a fraction of a second getting there too early, it wouldn't bother me as much.

But #53 had Russell completely laid out and bleeding on the turf before the punt ever even hit the ground. It's blatantly obvious #53 had one mission on that play, and it was to take Russell out. If you think any differently, you have no business being associated with football in this day and age.

If Carter has one single ounce of integrity, he'd remove that kid from the team, permanently. If me or you tried doing something like that to somebody, we'd be sitting in a holding cell awaiting arraignment right now.

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
