Powell Panthers vs AC Mavericks

Hopeful AC Mavs play well against the #1 team in 5A. I’m sure the Mavs will be big time underdogs. For me the Mavs offense is better but the defense has taken a step back. AC will need to outscore good offensive teams .

Should be and interesting game! Powell has offensive weapons, but I’m curious to see how the o-line protects with the loss of the younger Nolen brother. Defensively, I’m hoping Powell has some guys step up to fill the spots from guys that graduated. We all know AC has the offense, so maybe a shootout once again?

I like AC in this one at home especially if they are 100% healthy.

I'll have to go with Powell, even though I would like AC to win, as in previous games, AC may wear down a little late in the game, They have had big leads in the previous two years but have been unable to hold on. I think Powell's receivers will be a big test for the AC secondary, especially if they can't get any pressure on Potts. Powell 35 AC 24

I am going with Powell. Just from what I am hearing AC is not fully ready, especially Defense wise and I think they will need a wake up call. I think they have everything it takes to beat Powell but it may be too early in season for this new defensive Coach.

I hope AC proves me wrong! They have a solid week to prepare. Wait until later for a score.

Id love for Anderson County to win, and I'd they do they'll have Super shoot out I think this game will be all offense and gonna be a high scoring one. Believe final score will be something like  Powell 44  AC 41
