I just received word that Coach Ted Wilson is coming to the Farragut vs Maryville game this Friday.  The MHS staff is organizing an informal, impromptu reception for him in the Don Story Athletic Center starting a 6pm pregame.  Come by and say hello to Coach!

The informal "meet and greet" Coach Wilson start time has been changed to 5:45pm.  Come by and say hello!

It's sad that 90% of the people in charge up there weren't even born when he was last there or even have a clue how important a figure he is on what they have today. Had he never been at Maryville we would be one of those Average Joe programs. That stadium being named after a former Mayor because he was the P.A. Announcer for years was total hogwash. When they were building the track at the junior High one of the coaches told me personally Skeeter ask why couldn't they just run on the sidewalk that goes around the high school and save that money. That's who you named your stadium after.
