Yes, the officials were blnot going to let the away team win. Was aweful.

What exactly was awful about it? The only plays y’all complained about was a pass that the receiver was clearly not down (everyone on here agreed.) Then the holding call at the end where fayetteville’s player was getting slung

That's funny.  Usually it's the officials throwing yellow on the Tigers whether we are the home or away team. The game last year, seems like the Tigers had more penalties than the Bees.

Is Thominson available? Seen he was banged up last week. If he's not out there its going to be hard for City to win this one even with the other talent on the roster. Upperman is good ball club still wont easy for them Citys is the most athletic team they face all season until Red Bank in the playoffs.

Last years game was the worst officiated game I have seen in a long time. That will not happen in Baxter. Upperman by 7

Wait, are you implying that the referee crew is going to help you win this game?  What has this world come to that games won't be decided on the field, by the players, but by "your" officiating crew?  I guess the Tigers will have to play, and beat all of them on Friday night.

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
