Page at Nolensville

Two 7-0 teams battling it out for the region title.  Other than a scrape Nolensville had with Giles Co. neither team has been tested in the 4th Q.  I'll give Nolensville a 1 TD home field advantage.  It's one of the best atmospheres around for h.s. football.  Will it be enough?

This might be the hardest game to pick all year. Both have been so good. I thought Page might drop off a little after last year, but they may even be better this year because they can actually run the ball his year. I'll go with Nolo at home.

If page can run the ball and mix it up with some read option with the qb then nolensville will have a hard time stopping page. On the other hand I think nolensville has some really good skill guys on offense that page will struggle to stop. It’s a toss up for me and for sure will be a game to be at.

I agree with both of your first two statements. This is a difficult game to predict and, as you, thought there would be a drop off but, also as you, I think we are better this year.

Nolo at home would give them an edge but we have that been here before mentality. I think we pull it out in the fourth.

One thing is for sure, only one of these teams will remain in the unbeaten category afterwards.

It is the MYTV30 game of the week, it will also be the game of the week on the radio on 104.5

In the two losses to Page last year, Nolensville was really hurt when the QB was able to extend the play by getting out of the pocket.  The Knights have more speed up front this year and the teams they have played have had a more difficult time doing that this season.  It will be interesting to see the effect this has on this years game.

This has the potential to be the first of two big games for these two programs. Potential Quarterfinal matchup if both teams can handle their business the next few weeks.
