How come no one is talking about MASE? No not that 90s rapper but the team out of Memphis who is 7-0 and has not surrendered a single point all season.

That defensive coach must be having those boys do Oklahoma drills in the hallways each day the way they are playing? Any chance they go the entire season without surrendering a point? Has that ever been done? Give that coach a cold Coors for this.

Everyone knows what they’ve done, but it’s not as impressive when you look at who they’ve played. I think they play a decent opponent this next week though

There is a whole thread on them somewhere. 
They are a 2A semifinal team playing JV squads. If Peabody, City, McKenzie, and any other decent 1A squad had that schedule the result would be the same.

The combined record of the 8 teams they have played so far is 9-41. With 4 of those wins bring from 1 team. Nothing I would go bragging about.

It’s all fun and dandy until the rabbit gets the gun. When the playoffs start they actually have to play high school teams. Please explain what makes this team head and heels over the rest of 1A?

Cornersville didn’t allow a point in 2018 until the second round.

Community scored in the 4th on Cornersvilles 3rd and 4th strings. The first D team didn’t allow a point for 12 games.

But the TEAM as a whole did give up points. Many first strings have gone through regular seasons without allowing points. It’s tough to get through without subs allowing a score. MASE has done that so far.
