From what I've been seeing on film, Page is definitely going to be a problem. Of course this time of year, what else do you expect? They are well rounded on offense, looks like a very good run/pass game. QB makes plays running the ball when he has to. Just a good looking offense overall. Their defense looks good, I just can't see them being any better than Springfield but a good group nonetheless. I predict this could be another great game with our defense making just enough plays to win it late.

Or doesn’t understand the game

100%. Just rewatched the game on social dweebs. Man this one could have gone either way. The 2 commentators are 1st class guys. I hope the jackets watch the game Friday night on YouTube wlzk the lake. And keep pulling for region 7 all the way. The way these warriors all fought it out to the last second and were able to comfort each other and shake hands and even hug it out will be what sticks with me the longest.

Mutual respect and total class by both players and fan bases.  Region 7 rules

Agreed, it felt good seeing the few players going over to console #45, they knew he played his tail off and respected him for it, hard to hold any ill will towards an opponent when they are that gracious in victory. I have been watching the Page/Nolensville game this morning on NHFS, I like your chances to win, it will be another battle for sure, but winnable for you guys...

They are better than Springfield. Page is a lot more complete than they were last year. The QB is not as good as the one last year, they are better everywhere else. Last year Page couldn't stop HC's run game and HC couldn't stop Page's pass game. HC is also 3-10 against Williamson County Schools since 2015, can they make it 4-10? I think home field will be the difference and they pull it out.

I meant I can't see Pages defense being any better than Springfield's. But should be a good game for sure!

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
