As I recall, we beat Huntingdon in a pre-season scrimmage. Who knows how that would go if we played them in a real game? The only data I have says we should place ahead of them.

Haywood and Munford already beat us, so they have to place ahead of us. Henry County is probably better than we are. I don’t know anything at all about McKenzie, so can’t say for sure about them. Let’s see how they do vs MASE.

Here is some data for you. Covington has played 6 games against teams with above .500 records. 2 of those games were against teams with 9 or more wins. Covington went 4-2 in those 6 games and lost to the 2 teams with 9 or more wins. (Munford and Covington). Huntingdung has played 9 games against teams with above .500 records. They won 7 of the 9 with losses to Westview and McKenzie. Of the 7 they won 6 wins came against teams with 9 or more wins. This data suggests Huntingdung should be ahead of Covington and it’s why I have them ranked ahead of you.

Are you real dumb?  My little buddy bpm would like nothing more than to remove the horse turds off of his pole.  But he is being real honest and fair here.  I garuntee you cant count a practice game as a real game.  You think im joking but im not.

Your right Roy. I can’t stand the Mustanks.  But they have beaten some really good teams this year and are playing well right now. I hope Riverside beats the brakes off them but it will be tough for anyone to beat them right now.  Hope you are doing well and have a great thanksgiving.

With your reasoning Henry County beat Haywood 4 scores to 2 in our Jamboree. Covington got smashed by Munford. We just beat the team that smashed Munford. HC is definitely better than you

You like to pretend you hate Huntingdon. But in reality, you are becoming more and more of a fan. I’ll save you a seat Friday.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
    • No movement on Chester? South Gibson? Gibson County?
    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
