If done properly there is no way legally that a public school or private day school should ever be able to compete with a boarding school in team sports.

Father Ryan’s sophomores are paid players. Parents couldn’t get past the sniff test at MBA but the church folk aren’t as discriminating.

He has amnesia!  It’s interesting how people forget about the hat being passed around the table at the Board of Trust meeting and a certain players father was given a nice check from the funds that were collected.  The funny thing is that the father was a little smarter than the BOT members as he made a copy of the check before it was cashed which he used to get what he wanted.  The former football was ushered out the door and fell on the sword for everyone involved.  It would be interesting to know what the school paid the former football coach to take the heat and not rat out everyone involved.  Anyone that has half a brain knows that the guys in NY and NJ know that you pay someone off with CASH which in this case would be difficult but not impossible to trace.  In all seriousness all members of the Board of Trust along with the headmaster should have been relieved of their duties and not just the football coach.  Everyone knows that wasn’t going to happen in my lifetime because the Board of Trust give money and the headmaster is a super fundraiser. When you are able to raise 100 million dollars from one individual you can do most anything and not be fired.
