Scott Cummings has resigned at Oak Ridge

Naw Willie I actually have no thoughts on who it should be or where they should come from. Most all the coaches I know are old farts like me!  I just thought that would be good criteria, should appease everyone!  I'll leave the finding and hiring  to the experts.

I say Oak Ridge should hire a Coach from withing the program but thinks outside the box.

I also would like him or her to wear a Superman / Superwoman " S " on their shirt.

Might get someone with an "S" on their shirt but I don't see anyone being hired from within. We'll probably lose all the assistants when a new coach is hired anyway. Start all over again just like a year ago.

BASKETBALL UPDATE...

For those planning on going to Maryville for today's (Dec. 27) OR vs Hampton game, the start time is now 2:30.

I just looked at Clary's Twitter page and the game is still at 2:30. It will be streamed on his You Tube prepradio.com.

Oak Ridget remains perfect on the season after beating Hampton  75 - 51.

Up Next... Maryville

I just put basketball stuff here in hopes of getting OR posters to come and enjoy the Oak Ridge Boys and Girls Basketball teams threads. I want more posters on there especially those like Bounder and BoyfromSI who go to the games. I watch all the games thanks to David Clary but actually being there gives you a better perspective on how the game went.

...but don't worry guys I will respect this is a football thread and won't force basketball on you. 

Just heard a great song by the Bothers Osblorne....Weed, Whiskey and Willie. I'm sure they mean Willie Nelson and not WillieTheWildcat but I can dream.

Neither. I was a star in the Church Leagues. Softball to Suds, I played all of them. <<<Belch>>>
