So Cleveland's new coach hired a guy that hasn't called a game on defense by himself yet?  That is hard to believe....  If true, heck of way to break in a young guy in that situation where real money is being paid for real results.....

As boogers booger I'll translate. He's saying Mr.BoydBB is in fact wrong about who called the Tyner defense. From what I understand Manes has actually only ever been a coordinator in his short career. Everyone will find out fast if that staff is for real or not come fall.

He will get his chance.....as fast as they are going to play on offense....Not going to be a lot of 8 minute drives. He will be playin g a lot of defense. Not the toughest 6A schedule out of the gate IMO....gets tougher later in the season.

Middle Tennessee contact mentioned that to me as a possibility a couple of weeks ago.

Cleveland folks - how's the new hire going? Seeing he started drills a week or so ago, and moonlighting as a soccer coach for 8 and under, in an attempt to identify speedsters early.

Coach Tygard was a manager under Dooley at Tennessee. I have full faith that he can identify talent and build a great program.
