It has happened in other counties also. Can't leave mid contract without a replacement in place. It has actually always been in place. It is just harder to replace openings these days.

I haven't heard half of the names that's East interviewed for the job . Harris is a clear cut winner based on coaching experience and background . Very humorous and embarrassing for the school . A guy from Maplewood staff, Mt. Juliet Christian , non faculty coach can not be cream of the crop options for this job . Metro will be metro

Why didn’t put your name in? Also I think Harris will be a fine HC. He’s payed his dues outside of metro “Marshall County” and in metro.

I think DH is ready to take on the challenge. I don't think the admin at East have any clue about how important athletics are to the overall culture of the school. He has to be able to get coaches in the building. Reason Stewart left.

My coaching days are well past me , it wasn't a knock at Harris it's really a knock at the process . I've heard a decision will be made by mid week next week.

Stewart left because of lack of help in the building and support from new admin, so the list of names for the job is not surprising. DH has a good reputation but will he get the support of adding coaches in the building himself . East whole staff is gone from what I've heard so starting from square one with no previous help and unsure about getting your own guys in the building is a bad deal. I had no idea Stewart was the only coach in the building this whole time , that bonkers . It makes their success much more impressive for sure .

DH is getting the job you can book that , if not EAST will descend fast .

I been told yall a few years ago this would happen to Pc staff. Coach Harris leaving pearl to come to the best side "East Side" is huge and the success will continue. Now the question is who does he bring with him? Will he call the offense? I just found out 10 mins ago he is also the girls head track coach? I know brunetti is running around like a chicken with his head cut off.
