You are 100 % Correct they can't accept tuition student's like they use to because the school is at capacity. I had a client of mine sell his lake lot in Louisville that he was going to build his dream home on because he wanted his daughter to still be able to attend Maryville.  They kept the house in the Maryville Zone so that could happen.  I wonder what the plan is for Maryville and the Capacity problem? Do they Annex WB into the City System?  Do they build upward at the school?  They can't really build out unless they can buy up all the residential properties that sit next to it.

No telling who from Knoxville we're missing out on. I know in the past there was always been a few.

I think they both will stay. Will Jones was born to be a quarterback. His older brother and dad were quarterbacks.  Thomas Manu is really good at Quarterback. Thomas Manu was a receiver at Maryville Junior High last year. I would play Manu at Quarterback and Receiver. His quickness is a lot like AJ Davis. Manu has good speed also. He was outrunning the West Freshmen defense last night.  What is crazy is the Maryville Freshmen team was without its best running back Will Young last night.

Doesn’t the Maryville Freshman and JV pretty much crush the majority of opponents year in and year out? What exactly has happened at the high school level in recent years.

Last year was lack of QB,WR and DB play. Injury to stud RB didn't help. This year the injury bug has killed Maryville.  Losing Gage Ladue killed Maryville. Doesn't help that starting QB and best Olineman is hurt also.

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
